A lot of home remedies will be enough to run away all termites but not with residual effect, many termite products out there provide an effective kill with residual effect may be up to years, and the special thing that you can do it your self without the need to pay for professionals or insect control companies which can cost you over $1000, which is a big wealth by the way.

Termites of wood are those white ants which eating the woody materials such as door, window, roof, galleries, collectables, and other woody things. After eating the woods, termites leave small or large holes and falling of the powder-like wood to looks like piles of termite’s faeces. Thus will cause damage to wood and financial loss, rather than you will pay for fixing the eaten wood or replacing it.

Please revise my previous post to know how to choose your special termite spray. Here.

List of special spray for each wood termites:
Now let’s list the suitable termite controller for each termite type:
Woods is a habitat for large family of insects such as: Drywood termites, dampwood termites and carpenter ants, moreover, there are many insects feed the woody materials and cause distinctive damage and big economical loss, such wood destroyers are: powderPost, Beetles, False PowderPost Beetles, Furniture and Deathwatch Beetles, Old House Borers, Longhorn Beetles, Ambrosia Beetles, Mold of wood and wood rot, as well as Subterranean Termites, that is not predominant in woody materials but build tunnels underneath the ground.
  • Drywood Termites: colonize the Wood and occasionally other cellulose material. Often found in attic wood; need very little moisture. Reproduce sexual forms which eventually swarm to form new colonies. Drywood termite infestations are identifiable by piles of fecal pellets in places like windowsills. as well as Shed wings, Ejected wood pellets, Galleries inside wood, and of course Piles of fecal pellets outside wood galleries.
Best remedies recommended for Structural infestations: fumigation for severe infestations, Spot Treatments with liquid termidicide Boracare or Timbor which may then be injected into the galleries. Dusts treatments should always be injected in small amounts, as too much will cause the termites to damn off the gallery and move elsewhere.

Since it always above ground in dry, undecayed wood, so that the best termite control used for Drywood Termites is "BORACARE especially with MOLD-CARE enhanced products". Boracare able to kill Workers, soldiers, as well as members which are Black Winged and Reproductive.

Also, early Wood Treatments by insecticide borate preservative such as Timbor or Boracare are a great preventative treatment for wood that is not yet infested.
  • Dampwood Termite: also named Termopsidae is a Creamy white to brownish with 6 legs. Found throughout the pacific coastal and adjacent states, the desert or semi-arid southwest, and southern Florida. To avoid it, you must eliminate sources of moisture and increase ventilation. Found in logs, stumps, dead trees, fence posts and utility poles. dampwood white ant not usually attack structure, however, dampwood termites and other termite species cause a collective $5 billion in property damage each year.
Best spray is Termidor, but there are many substitutions for termidor such as:
Adonis Insecticide 24.7 oz, Adonis has midacloprid 21.4% as Active ingredient. however Adonis is not specific as its Target Pests including Subterranean termites, drywood termites, dampwood termites, carpenter ants, wood-infesting beetles or borers, aphids, beetles (see label for types), thrips, whiteflies, leafhoppers, and more.
  • Carpenter Ants:
1. TERRO 16 oz. Carpenter Ant Aerosol T1900: The precision tube directs the spray into wall voids and infested wood where pests live
Used For indoor and outdoor use by easy to use long tube which help spray the contents precisely into walls and infested woods and terminate the life of insects, also provide residual control for up to four weeks after effective extermination.

2. TERRO 600 1-Pound Ant Killer Dust:
It is a very good killer for carpenter ants as well as other annoying insects as fire ants, boxelder bugs, cockroaches, crickets, firebrats, spiders, ticks, wasps and silverfish

Terro product has these Active Ingredients: Deltamethrin(s), alpha-cyano3-phenoxybenzyl -(1R,3R)392-3-(2-2dibromovinyl)-2-2-dimethyl cyclopropanecarboxylate = 0.05% other ingredients = 99.5% (they do not list them), manufacturer reports that they use this fairly often and it really works good

I can conclude that:
Many termites killers in the market, but you certainly do not have enough money to set and test every one, hence, I argue you to go with most used controller by other customers especially the spray form, Instead of spraying your walls which only poisons your family and the termites in the wall but not the other 95% of them back in the ground creating more termite and heavily eating more woods especially if the queen kept.

Sprayers have a precision tube which will push the active ingredients so far into the holes of woods and laterally kill the original colony and the queen herself; in addition to most sprays of termites have no foul odor, no residual toxicity.

Termidor is the king due to heavy use by global users, but again you have to define the type of termites and use special spray for every type firstly.

Wood infestation usually treated with Timbor and Bora-Rid but not with soil, which may act as herbicide and kill your plants too. The borate spray will stop the topical entrance of termites up to 1 foot into the holes.
